CAT Telecom Public Company Limited (CAT) organized the 11th CAT Network Showcase 2020 (CNS2020) on November 5-6 in the virtual event format for the first time to showcase the potential of telecommunications services, advancement in communication and digital technology by transforming from live event to be the online event with seminars in updating digital trends from experts from both public and private sectors who exchanged and shared their views in how new normal make changes, via the www.catcns2020.com website.  

     Mr.Buddhipongse Punnakanta, Minister of Digital Economy and Society said on the opening ceremony that "CAT NETWORK SHOWCASE  2020 is held in a virtual event format in accordance with the social distancing policy. It is a new dimension of organizing activities in the New Normal era which is a result of the rapid change in digital technology. Thus, not only people but also organizations as well as government agencies must be ready to respond to the change. As for the government itself, we are committed and ready to support all sectors with digital projects to deal with the changes efficiently including giving services which adopt state-of-the-art technology aiming to improve quality of life and create business opportunities for Thai people through policy plans in information technology development such as the Digital Park Thailand Project at Sri Racha, Chonburi province. The Digital Park Thailand is the innovation city having full digital services in strive to push Thailand forward to be a trading hub and also attracting foreign investment. The government also has a project to support development policy towards electronic government and Digital Thailand  through various projects including the Government Data Center and Cloud Service (GDCC) to the Big Data Analytics, advocate the policy of the innovation and technology creativity like 5G technology and develop the government sector to AI/IoT technology as well as develop the satellite development of Thailand project through the joined-development of the low-orbit satellite systems in serving the development in the use of 5G technology which will occur in the near future.

     CAT NETWORK SHOWCASE  2020 is the event that will encourage both the government organization, private sector and also the public to learn about the advancement of digital technology and be ready to deal with the changes that are going to happen in the digital transformation."
