4 Giants firms pilot Work from Anywhere model

 

During the Covid-19 crisis, many organizations are adapting to work at home or from anywhere like the world's biggest technology company Fujitsu has launched Fujitsu Work Life Shift, a new solution transforming to be a new way of working to over 130,000 employees to work anywhere with efficiently.

 

Fujitsu explains that the new way of working can give more freedom to employee and increase their creativity and productivity better than assigning employees working in a fixed office. Moreover, the initiative also helps employees to manage their work-life balance better. Thus, Fujitsu develop the Work from Anywhere platform an emphasis on the key solutions as follow:

 

  • Smart Working: Realizing optimal working styles with popular templates such as Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and Box, provide a Zero Trust network environment in the form of cloud services to increase workload and workforce throughout, as well as coordination with third parties, faster and more secure.
  • Borderless Office: Adjusting office operation by establishing Service Desk unit to provide support through telephone enquiry and troubleshooting services to employees who work outside the office 24hrs and also provides Working Support by shipping and repairing equipment in more than 180 countries.
  • Culture Change: Providing services to ease of communication between employees working in different departments, displaying the results of collaboration data in various situations and supporting continuously changing work styles whether it is virtual collaboration or AI to help the office works.

 

Fujitsu is the leading company that pilots employees to work from anywhere since the Covid-19 crisis in 2020. Also, the social media firm like Twitter offer $1,000 for employees who apply to work outside the office.

 

Facebook has given $1,000 to employees who are willing to work at home and the company also provide the Work from Anywhere platform focuses on developing AR/VR technologies as well as solutions including Workplace, Rooms, Live Producer, Portal, and Oculus. 

 

Giant companies like Google have allowed more than 200,000 employees to work from anywhere and don’t need to go to the office.  Sundar Pichai, Google CEO, once indicated that in the   future, Google may work on getting more flexible working model like employees may work at least three days a week in the office to collaborate with their peers and work from anywhere on the rest of the days.
